About the Mushers
Dogsled Alaska LLC is proudly owned and operated by Jae March and Robert Redington, along with their team of 40 incredible sled dogs. Their passion for mushing and deep love for their dogs drive them to share the adventure with guests from around the world.
Robert Redington has deep roots in mushing—his grandfather, Joe Redington Sr., founded the world-famous Iditarod Sled Dog Race, making sled dogs a central part of his life. When he’s not guiding tours, Robert enjoys competing in races, including the Iditarod, and sharing his knowledge with others.
Jae March discovered mushing on a family trip in middle school, where a single tour sparked a lifelong passion. Her love for sled dogs led her to Alaska, where she began guiding tours. In 2013, she joined Robert and his kennel, and together, they built the team they have today.
With over a decade of experience guiding dog sled tours in both summer and winter, Jae and Robert bring expert knowledge, deep respect for their dogs, and a love for the sport to every tour. Whether you’re seeking a thrilling ride through the Alaskan wilderness or an immersive introduction to mushing, they are committed to providing an unforgettable experience.
